In very learning institutions, teachers are required to work hard by playing all their roles in order to bring improvement in performance of the school. In fact, there are those professional teachers who are always committed, dedicated and success orient. The best teacher that school is taken as a good model by the rest of trainers. In order to get the teaching skills and techniques practiced by the best tutor, the rest of trainers usually join students during lesson in a program referred to as instructional rounds. This program is usually aimed at improving the performance of the whole school in general.

These meetings are usually very important and most schools have off late adopted them. During the program, educators are supposed to monitor every technique applied by the expert when teaching his students. Adopting these programs in schools is important because of the following reasons. It helps the rest of educators to interact freely with the best performing teacher. In addition, they are in position to copy the recommended teaching styles applied by the top performer in that particular school.

Those educators who apply the new methodologies learned usually end up sharpening their teaching techniques. Many educators usually get a challenge after attending these sessions. They starts to view themselves in the shoes of the professional and this makes them to work extra harder to get to the level of an expert. Through emulation and desire to achieve, they finally make it and become experts too.

The session is usually supposed to be directed by a highly honored and designated expert in education. Actually, in most cases, the administrator usually assumes the responsibility of leading the team during this program. Since there is no evaluation of performances, tutors do not feel scared and undermined during these sessions. In fact, the meeting is purposely organized trainers to share their experience and learn new ways of doing things.

Since the program make educators to feel free, they are in position to share their problems with their colleagues. In fact, after the session, trainers usually discuss their challenges with each other. If there are issues they need them solved, they forward them to the relevant individuals. Due to this freedom, the performance is improved within a short time.

To allow the session run smooth and without any inconveniences, there are rules, which must be adhered to by the educators. For instance, the programmer must ensure that the group to attend these sessions is kept small for effectiveness and convenience purposes. Additionally, the expert whose class will be used for this session is supposed to ensure that he or she makes the students aware of the session. Once the trainers arrive, courtesy requires that they ask for permission. This help to keep the attention of students undisrupted.

Immediately it is over, teachers always meet to give their opinions and any suggestion regarding the program. During the meeting, they can give their comments and any point of concern. Trainers are supposed to understand that, no information about the meeting should be given to the observer unless when asked to do so.

Once everything else has been done as per the program, a report ought to be presented to the panel. This report contains all findings, both the negative and the positive observations. It should be kept brief and clear for easy understanding.
