Summer is the best season for family and other types of vacations and Bulgaria is in the list of European countries that offer great opportunities for spending unforgettable time there. Whether you plan short or long stay, Bulgarian Black Sea coast guarantees rest, a lot of fun, as well as beautiful, sunny and sandy beaches.

The variety of luxury hotels in Bulgarian summer resorts is striking and many of these hotels are built in a few steps from the beach. It is wise to book your accommodation in advance, especially if you plan to come during July or August, which is the peak of the summer season here and it is hard to find a spare room. The duration of the summer tourist season continues four months - from June till October.

The most popular beach resorts are Sunny Beach, Golden Sands and Albena, although there are many others smaller but not less attractive summer resorts, like St. Vlass, St. Konstantin and Elena, Kiten, Nesebar, etc. While Sunny Beach is located in the southern part of the coast, Golden Sands and Albena are in its northern part and in close proximity to each other. Both Sunny Beach and Golden Sands have great Aqua Parks where children and adults have a lot of fun.

All the resorts guarantee ideal conditions for relaxation and sun bathing along with first-class accommodation. The weather in Bulgaria is also advantageous due to the sunny summer with almost no rain or bad weather.

All these advantages make Bulgaria one of the most preferred summer holiday destinations in Europe. The fulfilling summer retreat that tourists will experience during their stay here will surely make them choose this destination again next summer. In addition to the sea and sand, the region also offers great cultural landmarks. One of them is "The Stone Forest", located near to Varna and attracting visitors from all over the world.

Varna itself is known as a Bulgarian Sea capital, which is a seaside city offering a great number of museums, theaters, art galleries and other cultural monuments, as well as various entertainment options for the guests of the city. Children will enjoy attending the Sea Garden, the Zoo, Aquarium, Dolphinarium, etc.

Beach guards ensure the tourist safety. Tourists are often amazed by the serenity in Bulgarian resorts, in which the time as if stops, providing a great chance to relax and rest from the hectic and busy lifestyle. Actually, the time starts to run again in the evening, when the streets of the resorts turn into colorful fair, full of traders, painters, craftsmen, shops, etc. You will be able to find just everything you need, taking advantage of the lighted streets to take a long after-dinner walk. Numerous nightclubs and restaurants keep the young people busy all the night.

Restaurants provide excellent opportunity to taste original Bulgarian meals, like "tarator", "banitsa", etc. and entertain their guests with live music and dancing waiters. You may probably notice that not all of the waiters are professionally trained, but you will nevertheless be satisfied with the services and the menu.
