A Bear is highly evolved social animals with great intelligence than great apes. They usually share resources, friendship and security. Bears are not as dangerous and unpredictable as Hollywood or media shares to the public. They usually exhibit very predictable behavior. This trait can be beneficial to individuals who come into contact with bears.

Actually, they are present in colder countries. For this reason, viewing activities are quite popular for those countries. It becomes a recreational activity for people. But, there are certain things to consider and things to avoid during Juneau bear viewing. Basically, a lot of bear species are present in the world today.

Bears are sometimes considered as dangerous animals, curious and intelligent all the time. However, if you only respect their territory and show responsible behavior, you have also the chance to come closer to them. Bear viewing is not a dangerous activity, but a very enjoyable experience. You just need to concentrate on the given instructions and with your tour guide, since they know what are things to be avoided during the viewing.

If you encounter with a bear, you should stay calm and stand on the ground even they approaches. You should not run away from them. Doing so will only encourage them to keep chasing on you. If not, you have to slowly walk backward and give them the space or access to its fishing trails and holes. You should avoid giving them food and keep your personal possessions with you. You can use your binocular lenses but do not stalk them closely.

You may stay on the roadway or trails and remain in close groups. You should not try to attract their attention with loud noises and especially food. You have to be neutral in the environment. Bears are normally hide or flee when they see people. But in some popular viewing sites, bears have learned that humans are not a problem. Thus, they keep on coming back every year.

Cubs are usually waiting for the signal of their parents. If people behave properly, they also return to the spots for bear viewing opportunities. Some of them are tolerant but usually they have their personal spaces once they feel some threats against them.

Therefore, you need to reduce the disturbance to their own habitats. People should respect their personal space and make sure that they will also experience a predictable human behavior. Select a particular viewing spot near them and let them come to you.

You should avoid making any surprise at close distance. You also have to avoid making noises and avoid feeding with garbage or food. Once you encounter one of them, you should stay clam and never run from them. There are cases where animals are not dangerous or a threat to you. But, just like human beings, they also deserve respect.

When traveling in bear countries, keep alert and enjoy the chance to see these amazing animals in their natural habitat. Female ones can be defenders of their young. Thus, getting between a female and her cubs is a big mistake. This is because, a female bear may aggressively respond to anyone who threatens to go near to her cubs.
