The aim of these changes is to ensure the system functions as most people feel it should. American trial jury reform is necessary to ensure people do not lose faith in the method.

The main purpose of the judging method is to help in investigations with a view of combating crime while protecting the rights of citizens. Some may argue that the system has never failed in acting as a sword and held. However, leaving the method in its current form will cause more problems than one would imagine. It will be going against the principles of the American justice arrangement.

The judging arrangement has been in use for a very long time and was incorporated in the constitution in 1791. It was an effective method of protecting citizens who could be prosecuted wrongly. A lot has happened over the years, making the arrangement move from its initial purpose. In order to ensure the method does not lose relevance, it is time to consider making some changes in it.

Supporters of the system agree that its decisions are not perfect. This is expected in any decisions made by human beings. Different outlooks are brought into the decisions which are enough to stir controversy. Proponents argue that this is the only way to protect against acceptance of unfavorable unilateral decisions.

The number of prosecutors in American courts has increased. The accused have suffered because there is no control of against grand jury abuses. Many people have been convicted unfairly thus destroying their lives. The purpose of guarding the rights of citizens was one of the objectives of the judging structure. Juries have not adhered to this and perhaps it is time to get things back on course.

There is growing concern about the judging system. The process involved is costly and time consuming. Many people who have testified in a jury tell of very unpleasant experiences. Action is needed to ensure the dignity of the American justice system is restored.

Instead of duplicating the wrongs done in the past, it is good to learn from them and find how the institution can be reinstated. This institution is necessary if it is used in the right manner. It can be effective in eliminating criminal activities and ensuring the rights of the people are safeguarded.

The society is changing and embracing new values fast. The judging arrangement should embrace the changes in the society so that the two can work in tandem. These changes will help ensure that people do not have negative attitudes towards judgments reached by the judges. Some states have already taken the initiative and made changes especially in civil cases.
