People who loved giving money to charity did not mind going to jail for one night. During this event every person would have a member of their family arrested and taken to jail. The unfortunate prisoner would have to wait a few hours before their loved one could bail them out. This event is strictly done for charity and all of the proceedings are given to the homeless shelters that are around.
Whenever people place furniture, jewelry, paintings and other items on display within a town hall they will more than likely be auctioned off. A silent auction is always an excellent way for people to raise money for others who really need financial assistance.
