White And Double Bathroom Vanity

There are no hard rules for choosing a white bathroom vanity. The size of the vanity is often dictated by the size of the bathroom. Take the case of a powder room. Because it is generally the smallest room in the house, it can only accommodate a small vanity.

As long as there is enough room to access the toilet, a white bathroom vanity that holds one sink, with a minimal countertop, would prove sufficient for a powder room. As to its style, a powder room could very well follow the style of the other public rooms in the house or, for dramatic effect, form a bold statement for the homeowner.

For a clean clean-lined Shaker styled, white bathroom vanity, a Craftsman-styled home would make a perfect match. A good spot for a pedestal sink with no counter space would be the powder room. However, this must be supplemented with storage space elsewhere in the bathroom since storage space has been lost in the installation of the pedestal sink.

The provision of two sinks is the obvious upside to double bathroom vanities. For a couple who uses the shared bathroom at the same time, this would mean a shortening of daily bathroom rituals. However, gaining additional counter space is the disadvantage to double bathroom vanities.

Highly luxurious and spacious is a double basin. It can be gained with the addition of vessel style sinks in relation to double bathroom vanities. They provide a touch of class to the entirety of the bathroom. Functionally, vessel sinks free up the counter for bathroom accessories like built-in soap dispensers and hands-free faucets.

An alternative to double bathroom vanities is the no-vanity wall-mounted sink. This gives a more modern and sleek look to the shared bathroom space. These sinks are mounted directly to the wall, requiring no vanity to support the sink. Wall-mounted sinks are the best way to go for freeing up space in cramped quarters, in a small shared bathroom requiring dual sinks.
