Are you disturbed about the deep lines and furrows showing on your forehead? There isn't any way to completely elude these visible signs of aging but there are easy ways you can follow to help reduce the appearance of these unpleasant forehead wrinkles.

1.You must avoid the sun.

Baring yourself too much to sunlight is the number one cause of formation of wrinkles on your forehead. If you should lay yourself open to the sun, apply sun lotion andkeep down the time you are in the sunshine. Suntan lotion will also help you in stopping cancer of the skin as well as removing wrinkles.

2. Avoid smoking.

Some of the studies done have illustrated that when you do smoke cigarettes, your skin ages prematurely. This is due to the fact that by smoking you release an enzym that breaks down the collagen and elastin which are very important proteins of the skin.

3. Get adequate sleep.

When you do not sleep enough, your body creates cortisol in excess. This is a hormone that breaks down the epidermis cells. You need to get enough rest to produce enough human growth hormone which is essential in keeping your skin thick, more elastic thus helping your skin stop wrinkling.

4 Sleep on your back.

There are specific positions you can sleep on and lead straight to sleep lines that may become wrinkles that will not disappear even when you wake up as they become etched into the outside of your skin. So when you sleep, it increases the formation of forehead wrinkles and lines on your cheeks and chin. The only way to get round this is to sleep on a prone position.

5. You should avoid squinting.

Get yourself a pair of reading glasses. When you are accustomed squinting you encourage repetitive facial movements caused by overworking of the facial muscles. This makes a crease right below the skin surface. Some of these grooves turn into a wrinkle. Thus it is crucial to put on dark glasses. This helps protect the skin surrounding the eyes from damage due to sun exposure and at the same time it also keeps you away from squinting.
